Mariposa Jungle Lodge, located under the Cayo jungle canopy between San Antonio Village and the Mountain Pine Ridge, has completed construction of a 23 foot, 16'x16' jungle bird watching tower for the enjoyment of birdwatchers, stargazers, and people who enjoy relaxation in a unique setting. The tower is also a unique, safe site for gourmet jungle barbeques under the stars.

The inspiration for this tower occurred when the Lodge proprietors engaged the consulting services of a birding expert who identified over 100 species on-site within a 36 hour period. We have since identified over 30 more species.
