Day One: Transfer by professional guide to Lodge in time for a refreshing swim before your private candlelight dinner on screened-in veranda with jungle view and sounds of nature. Your champagne bucket will be waiting for you for sipping in the luxury of your cabaña.
Day Two: Enjoy an early morning guided hike on our nature trail before breakfast. Relax at the pool. Visit a nearby resort for lunch, followed by a moderate jungle hike, a brief stop at an unexcavated Maya archaeological site and a relaxing tube float along the Macal River. Watch for exotic tropical birds and elusive iguanas. When you reach your destination, indulge in a private river swim. Cold beverages will be waiting for you on shore.
Tonight - a gourmet BBQ dinner under the stars on our jungle birdwatch tower.
After dinner, bid the staff "Adios", "Buenas noches", after they set out a double sleeping bag for your sleeping pleasure. Be sure to designate the time you want morning coffee and Belizean fry jacks delivered to your jungle perch. Can you distinguish the night sound of a bird, frog, gecko, cricket, howler monkey? When you awaken, watch for Keel-billed Toucans, Green Parrots, Chachalacas, Brown Jays, Blue-crowned Mot Mots and other avian treasures as they perform their morning song and dance.
Day Three: To enhance the wonder of peace and nature under the jungle canopy, spend a day exploring Caracol, the most awesome Maya archaeological site in Belize. Visit the Rio Frio Cave. Swim in the awesome natural pools at the base of beautiful Big Rock Falls. Picnic lunch served.
At sunset, share Happy Hour with thousands of butterflies as they do their sunset dance ritual.
Day Four: For adventure and thrills, either visit Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM), for an unforgettable day, or zip line through the jungle canopy and navigate the interior of a ceremonial cave with exquisite formations and a rare petroglyph of the Maya calendar.
