Barton Creek Cave
You’ll be awed by the height and beauty of Barton Creek Cave as your guide (required by law) navigates the canoe for a leisurely visit. Life jackets and headlamps are provided. Stalagmites and stalagtites abound as you float past impressive calcite crystalline formations. A wealth of Mayan cultural artifacts was found on the ten ledges above this subterranean river.
Much was removed before government protection was instituted. Contemplate the numerous ceremonies conducted in this cave. The spirit remains.

The Green Hills Butterfly Farm is a photographer’s dream opportunity to capture the elusive creatures through a lens. A trained guide will offer a brief lecture on the life cycle of several of Belize’s exotic butterflies.*
