A visit to Mariposa Jungle Lodge includes fine-quality meals, featuring the best available local ingredients. Guests may select a three or four-course theme dinner, or order from a limited a la carte menu.

Our unique signature offering is a Gourmet Jungle Barbeque, served on our bird watch tower under the stars. We ask our guests to make selections for each of the next day's meals to enable us to obtain the freshest necessary supplies and avoid waste. Alternative selections are available if the choices don't whet your individual appetite. A version of pasta or chicken will always be available for guests who prefer American basics. Beef will be offered only when we believe the meat available will satisfy the taste and tenderness expectations of our guests.

Also enjoy our poolside Pibil. This Special Event is a combination of Belizean and Mayan Dishes served by our poolside under the stars. It is prepared using a pit lined with hot stones and coal. We serve pibil with corn tortillas and pico de gallo sauce.
